PNWX Redesign
As a combined project for the User Interaction Design and Digital Media Environments courses at TMU, we had to redesign a website with the “worst design” using UI/UX principles and then develop the website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
We redesigned the official website for the Pacific North-West X-Ray Inc. as a group of four. My role with this project became that of the guide since I had prior knowledge of Figma and Web Design.
After studying the PNWX website, we came up with a Design Rationale, which helped us understand the aim of the website, understand the target audience and create a ‘How Might We’ statement to summarize our findings.
“How might we have a trustworthy site for medical equipment vendors and hospitals?”
We looked at how we could make the website seem more professional and trustworthy by improving the design and including more features and came up with a list of changes we wanted to implement.
Based on this list, we designed the wireframe for the new and improved website for Pacific North-West X-Ray Inc..
These wireframes were then further enhanced to make the final user interface for the new and improved PNWX site.
